First and foremost I would like to say, Mother Nature, you indeed suck. So, Monday night hear about this massive storm blowing in and that it is going to be the blizzard of the decade. I am hearing weather storm warnings here and there and I am hearing all these weathermen telling us to take extra precautions when it came to getting home before the storm hit. So we all took the precautions and we were all ready when a cloud came along, sneezed on us, and went on it's way. The temperatures dropped but there was only frost. I was totally bummed out and told myself to wait till morning and that this blizzard still had a good 12 hours, supposedly, left to it. This morning I woke up to nothing but plummeted temps and that same frosty layer that I had said goodnight to. Lame. My opinion personally is that if it is going to be below freezing we might as well have some snow to go with. This morning I also woke up to the slew of updates on facebook about the "storm" and while I fully agree... Good grief people!I learned today that the amount of snow does not define a blizzard. Interestingly enough it is the combination of a massive temperature drop and high mph winds. Not necessarily the snow falling. Interesting yeah? I thought so.

Today we also had our family photos. It's kind of a tradition to do over Thanksgiving Holidays. I barely managed to pull myself together but we did it.
Anyways, Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Enjoy stuffing your face, watching football, and all the napping you could ever indulge yourself in.
